Equipment and functional design
Thanks to the flat folding of the buoyancy chamber, the lifejacket is hardly bulky, guaranteeing optimum freedom of movement. The lifejacket was developed for use with and without breathing apparatus. The two back straps are placed around the sides of the compressed air cylinder. A D-ring in the neck area is provided for a rope safety device (Caution: no lifebelt in accordance with EN 1095 or harness in accordance with EN 363) The buoyancy aid is shaped in the neck area so that freedom of movement with a helmet is hardly affected by the inflated buoyancy aid. The SECUMAR GOLF 275 HV lifejacket is designed for use with or without breathing apparatus. The harness has been designed so that the lifejacket can be put on over or under a SCBA, i.e. a SCBA that has already been put on no longer needs to be removed if the lifejacket has to be put on later. The buoyancy chamber is designed in such a way that it does not push the helmet forwards when the lifejacket is inflated.
