The integrated DUO-PROTECT system of the float provides double safety for children and therefore a more reassuring feeling for parents. The DUO-PROTECT system has long been a must for children who lie on their stomachs on the dock with their waistcoat on while fishing. This is because a splinter of wood on the jetty can easily damage the lifejacket. But it can also happen on board that a crew member's lifejacket gets caught on a sharp edge. Even if both foils of the double-walled buoyancy chamber are damaged, the buoyancy chamber automatically seals itself as far as possible when inflated.
