The "Closed loop" DSC alarm can be sent to up to 8 programmable DSC ship stations.
"Open loop" DSC alerting (all ships call) is received by common DSC stations (base station, Class A, B, D and H) and can be acknowledged by base and Class A stations.
Compliant with RTCM 11901.1 and certified according to EN 301 025 (DSC Class D).
The easyRESCUE-PRO (BT) therefore has two functions: Localisation by (AIS) and GMDSS alerting via DSC.

No registration or radio licence is required to operate the device.

Equipment and functional design
The easyRESCUE-PRO (BT) AIS and DSC maritime distress transmitter is a further development of the SOLAS-certified easyRESCUE (AIS S.A.R.T.), which is authorised for maritime rescue. However, the easyRESCUE-PRO (BT) also has a Bluetooth module and the DSC "distress call" (MOB) alarm technology.

The DSC functionality used makes it possible for ships that only have a DSC controller on board to receive the distress signal of a casualty and find out their current position. This significantly increases the number of potential first responders for the "man overboard" victim and, of course, their chance of survival.

The easyRESCUE-PRO (BT) has an integrated Bluetooth - LE module. This makes it quick and easy to programme up to 8 different MMSI numbers into the rescue transmitter.

Authorisation
The easyRESCUE (AIS S.A.R.T.) is approved by the BSH (Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency), in accordance with the international regulations for commercial shipping (SOLAS), by the US approval authority FCC and by the United States Coast Guard. With these certifications, the easyRESCUE is the only AIS S.A.R.T. of its kind in the world. The DSC transmitter and receiver included in the easyRESCUE-PRO fulfils the EN 301 025 (Class D) standard and complies with RTCM 11901.1, making it part of the GMDSS.

Compatibility
The easyRESCUE-PRO (BT) distress transmitter can be integrated into the following SECUMAR lifejackets:

Scout 275 3D,
Survival 275 Duo Protect,
Survival 275,
