Protective cover

The ALPHA 275 AS is a protective work waistcoat with a belt guide on the underside of the protective cover. It is also equipped with a reinforced, divisible back strap and the highly stable click fitting with integrated adjustment option. These points are crucial for ensuring that the lifejacket can be safely adapted to a fall arrest system. Both elements of the personal protective equipment therefore complement each other and function reliably as a combined system. The compact shape of the lifejacket is particularly important at locations such as offshore wind farms or in height rescue operations in order to ensure the necessary freedom of movement.

All attachment points of the fall protection system can be reached quickly and safely in the event of a fall. An integrated distress transmitter is clearly visible from the outside through an inspection window and is positioned at the highest possible point in an emergency thanks to the 3D buoyancy chamber to ensure optimum radiation performance. The coated fabric of the outer protective cover is particularly tear and abrasion resistant, making it suitable for tough working conditions.

Thanks to the SECUMAR Window, it is now easier than ever to check that everything is working properly. A window in the protective cover allows you to see at a glance from the outside at any time whether the inflation device and the distress signal transmitter are ready for use.
The patented SECUMAR Click fitting makes it particularly easy to put on and take off. Put the waistcoat on like a jacket and fasten the buckle like a car seatbelt. This fitting is also easy to operate when wearing gloves.
Additional retractable belt guides allow the lifejacket to be firmly connected to a fall arrest system so that it can be put on and taken off together.

The innovative, patented 3D float design achieves an excellent turning effect even with heavy clothing. The float is also characterised by a very high level of comfort when inflated. The three-dimensional design significantly increases the wearer's visibility in the water and allows an emergency beacon to be attached at the highest point of the buoyancy chamber, which is approx. 20 cm higher than with conventional lifejackets. This position also significantly improves the range of the distress beacon.

1st chamber: A red-green indicator for all 4 necessary requirements: SECUMAR Pill-Box inserted, CO₂ cartridge full, CO₂ cartridge correctly inserted and release lever engaged.
2nd chamber: A red-green indicator for all necessary requirements: CO₂ cartridge full, CO₂ cartridge correctly inserted and trigger lever engaged.

A soft neck fleece ensures pleasant wearing comfort in the neck. It is removable, washable and can be replaced at any time.
The service badge on the waist belt shows you at a glance when your lifejacket should be serviced again by SECUMAR Service.

Type examination according to DIN EN ISO 12402-2 (CE mark)
IMO Res. MSC 81(70) amended by MSC 200(80) and 207(81) (SOLAS).
