NEW at Conte Sports: Barbie™ x CCM – The Collection Turning Hockey Pink
New at Conte Sports. In March 2026, CCM Hockey and Mattel announced a collaboration hockey had not seen before: the Barbie™ x CCM collection.
Visually, hockey has always been a dark sport. Black, grey, navy – little has changed over the decades. That is exactly where this collection comes in: CCM combines its engineering with Barbie’s colour world and turns equipment into a surface for self-expression. The idea goes beyond a colourway. CCM and Mattel want to make girls and women more visible in a sport that has long been told as a mainly male story.
The timing is no accident. Women’s hockey has grown sharply since the PWHL was founded, Barbie is a sponsor of the league, and the Olympic tournaments have brought the women’s game further attention. With the JetSpeed FTW line, CCM has been building gear designed around female anatomy for some time – the Barbie collection is its most visible expression.
JetSpeed FTW Pro – the first elite stick for women
At the heart of the collection sits the JetSpeed FTW Pro in the Barbie colourway. It is the first elite-level stick developed from the ground up for female players, built to the specifications professional players asked for most often.
- Hybrid kick point: loads more easily and delivers a quick, powerful release
- Nanolite Shield shaft construction: very light with high strength, with reinforced inner and outer walls
- Round "R" geometry with rounded corners and concave sides for better control in the hand
- X-Soft blade profile – the design most requested by professional female players for puck feel and control
- Female-specific flex ratings and lengths so the stick loads properly without overworking every shot
- Available in senior, intermediate, junior and youth; blade patterns P28, P29 and P90TM
Mini stick, apparel and accessories
Alongside the playing stick, the JetSpeed FTW Pro also comes as a mini stick in the same design – 27-inch shaft, composite construction, an obvious gift for young fans and a collectible for everyone else. An apparel line with hoodies, beanies and accessories completes the look off the ice.
The protective kit for the youngest players
With the second part of the collection, CCM added a complete protective set in August for the back-to-hockey season. It is aimed at girls between two and seven who are just starting out, and includes shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, pants and shin guards. Every piece uses particularly simple strapping systems – so getting dressed does not become the obstacle and the kids get on the ice sooner.
Conclusion
The Barbie™ x CCM collection is more than a pink stick. It combines genuine elite technology with a visual language hockey has been missing – and lowers the threshold for an audience the sport badly needs. Equally interesting for players at any level, for young beginners and for collectors.
The Barbie™ x CCM collection is available now at Conte Sports – while stocks last.
