Please note that SECUMAR uses five inflation devices with two different types of CO2 replacement cartridges:
- SECUMATIC 4001S: fully automatic inflation device, CO2 cartridge with bayonet (CO2 dock).
- SECUMATIC 3001S: fully automatic inflation device, CO2 cartridge with screw thread.
- SECU 401S: semi-automatic inflation device, CO2 cartridge with bayonet (CO2 dock). For SOLAS lifejackets.
- SECU 301SM: semi-automatic inflation device, CO2 cartridge with screw thread. For VIVO 100 and SOLAS lifejackets.
- S31: semi-automatic inflation device, CO2 cartridge with screw thread. For FREE 100.
You can identify the inflation device of your lifejacket by opening the service zip of the inflation device or the Velcro fastener of the protective cover and looking directly inside the lifejacket.

Replacement cartridge set for SECUMAR lifejackets consisting of a CO₂ cartridge, two release tablets and, if necessary, safety pins. SECUMAR replacement cartridges are available in two versions:
- with bayonet and
- with screw thread.
Cartridges with bayonet are used in the SECUMATIC 4001S and SECU 401S inflation devices and have the suffix "Dock" in their name. Cartridges with a screw thread are used in the SECUMATIC 3001S, SECU 301SM and SECU S31 inflation devices. The filling quantity of the replacement cartridges in CO₂ is also relevant. This is specified in grams (g) and is determined by the float size of your lifejacket.
