Hardly any piece of gear is as personal as the glove – and hardly any was developed in Sweden with such single-minded focus on feel for the stick. JOFA comes out of Dalarna, where craft and function belong together, and helped shape European hockey for decades. This new glove pairs that feel with today's level of protection.
Technically, this glove is a CCM Tacks XR Pro – today's pro platform, styled in the spirit of the old JOFA days. The Max Protection ASD build in Pro-Approved polyester and PU leather delivers high protection in a roomy, mobile cut. D3O Zero sits at the knuckles and fingertips, the tips are Hybrid Nash, and index and ring fingers are three-piece – your fingers close around the stick without the material bunching up. On the back of the hand, a stiff, flat-integrated slash guard plate in high-grade injection-moulded polyethylene with a vent opening takes stick checks without building up the profile.
Control comes from the Elite Flex Thumb – a two-piece flexible thumb that combines mobility with torsion protection – and the SensaLast Pro Palm with embossed reinforcement and vent window. The cuff runs a Max Flex and FLEXMOTION Cuff setup, open so the wrist works freely on the shot and in the corners. Inside, the sublimated liner is treated with Polygiene and Odorcrunch and keeps bacteria and odour in check all season.
