Founded in Dalarna, the brand grew up on gear that carried Swedish players through decades of board checks and slashes – no show, just fit. These new elbow pads are the straight continuation of that attitude with a modern materials package.
Technically, this elbow pad is a CCM Tacks XR Pro: current pro tech wrapped in the look JOFA built its name on. The Max Coverage ASD build comes in two parts: the pad covers joint, bicep and forearm as one piece and hinges where the arm actually hinges. At the centre sits the anatomical JDP cap with D3O Zero Comfort Donut, keeping the elbow free and steering impact energy away from the joint – exactly the load you take going down on the ice. The FLEXMOTION bicep guard is double-layered and vented: more range of motion, less trapped heat.
Below it, an adjustable ADPTFIT forearm guard with D3O Zero and an optimised slash guard takes over. The slash guard is length-adjustable and covers wrist and forearm too – the area that's otherwise left open between glove cuff and pad. Inside, an EVA foam liner sits against the skin. Everything is held by the ADPTFIT 360 straps: a 360° forearm strap and centre strap keep the pad from spinning as the game wears on, even when it's soaked.
