Ooni premium lump charcoal is made from 100% birch hardwood and is free from chemicals, flavorings or additives, for a powerful, pure fuel that brings all natural flavors to your dishes. Our high-quality, food-safe charcoal is fired in small batches to ensure extremely low ash and moisture content for efficient, sustainable combustion. 15 minutes after it has been lit, you can start cooking. The massive, slow-growing birch trees are harvested from Finnish forests that have been certified by the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). This means a more flavorful charcoal with higher density for an efficient and long-lasting burn. Hand-selected for use with Ooni pizza ovens, Ooni Premium birch lump charcoal is also ideal for use with all barbecues.
