Every piece of protection works with D3O: at rest the smart foam stays soft and adaptive, on impact it stiffens instantly and spreads the energy across the surface instead of passing it into the body. Alongside it come Anatomical Shield Design (ASD) for maximum coverage, FLEXMOTION for mobility and ADPTFIT for individual adjustment.

Anyone who read our article on the CCM Tacks XR line will recognise these building blocks: JOFA Protective and Tacks XR Pro are based on the same protection principle. D3O in the key zones, max coverage ASD, the FZN Shield design in the shin guard, FLEXMOTION for mobility and ADPTFIT for fine-tuning – identical technology, a different face.
